Por ello, la presidente,<strong><a title=\" Viviana Veloz\" href=\"https:\/\/www.larepublica.ec\/blog\/2024\/10\/06\/zavala-egas-o-el-fin-de-una-era\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Viviana Veloz<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0clausur\u00f3 la cesi\u00f3n y llam\u00f3 a las bancadas a \u00abponerse de acuerdo\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El PSC nomin\u00f3 al legislador\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Otto Vera\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OttoVeraSE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Otto Vera<\/a><\/strong>. Vera inaugur\u00f3 la votaci\u00f3n en el Pleno. Sin embargo,\u00a0<strong>el socialcristiano logro apenas 28 votos<\/strong>\u00a0a favor. Tambi\u00e9n hubo 85 abstenciones.<\/p>\n<p>Luego, el mismo PSC propuso a\u00a0<strong>Jaminton Intriago<\/strong>\u00a0pero tampoco consigui\u00f3 los 70 votos necesarios. Tras la votaci\u00f3n se registraron\u00a0<strong>40 votos afirmativos, 14 negativos y 72 abstenciones<\/strong>. As\u00ed, el PSC se qued\u00f3 sin opciones la ma\u00f1ana del 8 de octubre.<\/p>\n<p>La tercera opci\u00f3n para ser Vicepresidente fue de Construye. El seleccionado fue el asamble\u00edsta\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Gabriel Bed\u00f3n\" href=\"https:\/\/observatoriolegislativo.ec\/perfil\/gabriel-bedon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gabriel Bed\u00f3n<\/a><\/strong>.
